Bought a new hard drive for my laptop because I've run out of space on the factory stock piece of shit. The new one came today, which was sooner than I expected it, so I've spent the past few hours backing up all my things before switching the drives out. Now that's done, I'm like, do I want to open this bitch up tonight and perform the deed with alcohol! or do I want to put it off until tomorrow and spend the rest of the night hoping someone uploads LSotW on isohunt, browsing FFN, and drinking? Hmmm...

It was kind of warm here today, so I let Shit Piece out. He spent most of the day outside, except for just a little while ago, when I heard him scratching at the door to come in - I let him in, and he ran straight to his litter box, used it, then ran straight back to the door and started scratching on it to be let out.

Fucking cat came in just to use his litter box. What the fuck, cat? What the fuck?

I'm working on those drabbles, by the way. They will get done, probably roughly in the order in which they were requested. Soon...ish.

Just to show that I can laugh at my own language fail and not just other people's, I totally just typed "Doctor Whom" by accident. Luckily, I caught myself.

I don't know about best advice, but the worst was when I was about 14, and my mother (a health care professional) tried to convince me to get breast reduction surgery, ostensibly because I would be "a hunchback" by the time I turned thirty if I didn't, but in fact, as she later confessed in a drunken stupor, because it "wasn't fair" that I'd gotten the big boobie genes and she hadn't.

I wasn't easily manipulated and knew that people generally don't get breast reductions at fourteen except in extreme circumstances, so I told her exactly where she could shove it. Fifteen years later, and guess who isn't a hunchback.

I will NEVER get sick of giving my mother shit about that.
